He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his stepsons, Scott Tuttle (Amanda) and Tony Hutchins (Ashley); his grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Alec and Tyler; his great grandchild Brentley; his siblings, Tina Richard (Jesse), Henry Bruebaker (Marti) and Jimmy Bruebaker; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan, Vivian, Zach, Henry and John Michael.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Michael's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 206 W Troy St., Dothan, AL 36303.
