He is survived by: his wife Angela Griffin; his daughter Miesha Lichelle Griffin; his grandchildren, Zoe Griffin and Carmello Edmonds; his siblings, William "Bill" Griffin III (Maggie), Barbara Gwynn and Tina Craft-Newkirk (Hermes); and his close friend Melvin Miller of New York. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
