She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Spurgeon and Etta Ola Peel; her husband D. L. Pope; and her siblings, Lunette Clark (George), Bernice Hinkle (Bill), Beatrice Zajic (Ray), Verna Ferrer (Dickie) and Edward Peel (Norma).
She is survived by : her caregiver Tommy Ferrer (Dianne); her nieces, Dorothy Jean Green and Delores Dismuke; and her close friends, Elizabeth Brister, Joan Abernathy, Sherry Larson and Sandra Cooley. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
