She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ladner of D'Iberville, MS. and Vivian Fountain Ladner of D'Iberville, MS.; her husband Col. Jack Hay of Birmingham, AL.; her sons, Arny Gollott Jr. (Tracy) and Nicky Gollott (Susie); and her siblings, Donald Ladner (Iris) and Beverly Quave (Russell).

She is survived by: her former husband Armond Gollott, Sr.; her sons, Brian Gollott (Trudy), Dale Gollott (Ha) and Ben Gollott (Kelly); her stepchildren, Carol Hay, Jackie Rockett (Tommy) and Michael Hay; her grandchildren, Trulie Gollott (Tam), Shawn Gollott, Arny Gollott III (Jamie Rae), Todd Gollott (Jessica), Dale Gollott (Vivyan), Chris Gollott (Kalie), Cody Gollott (Kaley), Gabrielle Gollott (Connor), Lakin Gollott, Lea Gollott, Zack Saucier (Lauren) and Zane Saucier; her stepgrandchildren, Cameron Ray (Stephanie), Jennifer Dobson (Brad), Jason Hay, Jacob Hay and Michelle Hay; and her great grandchildren, Baylie, Shawn Miguel, Arny IV, Faith Rae, Norah Lynne, Jude, Clara Rose, Annabelle, Caroline, Payton, Caden, Kaleb, Grace, Brelynn, Cole and Clayton. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis' memory to the Sisters of Mercy, Catherine's Care, c/o Sr. Cheryl Quave, 2039 N. Geyer Road, St. Louis, MO 63131.

Risa Ladner wrote a sympathy message

“Phyliss was a wonderful person and we'll all miss her. She and I were the last two first cousins left from that tier of siblings. Clarence and my father Roland were brothers so I guess I'm the last one standing now of the first cousins. Time marches on, but Phyliss made a deep impact on our lives and will always be remembered and loved. Risa Ladner”
