She was predeceased by: her husband Elvin Cannette; her parents, Gordon T. Middleton and Willie M. Middleton; and her siblings, Billie R. Middleton, Jack Middleton, Carol M. Cheatham, Gail M. Ficke, Barbara Lesso and Beverly Beleau.

She is survived by: her son Paul G. Cannette (Christy); her grandchildren, Sydney Cannette, Kaitlyn Etherton (Johnny) and Logan Snow; her great grandchild Cullen Etherton; and her sisters, Jill Beck, Janie Crampton, Linda Long and Judy Butler (Joel). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
