He is survived by: his siblings, Gwendolyn Oates Bryant (Mobile) and Lemuel Oates, Sr. (Las Vegas); his brother-in-law Clifford Bryant, Sr. (Mobile); his siblings' children, Lemuel Oates II, Clifford Lee Bryant, Jr., Jessica Ward and Kaitlin Ward; his great-nephews, Cordell Conner and Kamari Bell; his great-niece Serenity Harris; and his close friends, Amy Sullivan, Jessie Dore and James Reed.
