With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Charles Rechonie in Biloxi, Mississippi, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rechonie and Theresa Linsky Rechonie; his son Bryon Rechonie; and his brother James Rechonie. He is survived by: his wife Marion Rechonie of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; his stepchildren, Teresa Sanderson (Cory) and Jon Gottfried; and his brother Rick Rechonie (Jill) of Michigan. He is also survived by five step grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the New Harmony Baptist Church Building Fund; 2281 County Highway 2A, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433.
