He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Grayson Sr. and Minnie Lee Vines; his wife Lula Grayson; and his siblings, Ruby Danjou (John), Minnie Todd (Rick), Lillie Wofford (George), William "Dub" Grayson, Luther Grayson (Clara), Samuel Grayson (Mary) and Willie Fred Grayson (Geneva).
He is survived by: his close friend Clara Bell Johnson; and his siblings, Peggy Armstead (Matthew), Diane Wright (Hoover), Larry Grayson (Frances) and Lesley Grayson (Diane). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
