He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee "Pete" Elder of Biloxi and Jewel Constance Blake Elder of Biloxi; his brother-in-law Joseph Jurich of Ocean Springs; and his nephew Joseph Mattina of Kingwood, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Debra White Elder of Biloxi; his son Bennett Blake Elder (Leah) of Atlanta, Georgia; his granddaughters, Lillian Pearl Elder and Mae Constance Elder; his siblings, Carol Elder Sproles (Ken) of Kingwood, Susan Elder Jurich of Ocean Springs and Jeff Elder (Cindy) of Biloxi; and his sister-in-law Sherry White Braun (Erich) of Augusta, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Biloxi First Foundation in Peter Roy's name at P.O. Box 982, Biloxi, MS 39533.
