He was predeceased by: his mother Harriette Fields; his grandmother Maggie Dunn; his wife Willie Mae Robinson Albert; and his siblings, Geraldine Darensbourg and James Spears.
He is survived by: his children, Gwen D. Albert of Aurora, IL and Smiley L Albert, Jr. of Gainesville, FL; his grandson Smiley L. Albert (Careda); his great grandchild Isaiah L. Albert of Tampa, FL; his nieces, Sandra B. Williams of Baton Rouge, LA and Lori Stone of Baton Rouge, LA; his great-niece Josie Battle (Tootie) of Jonesboro, GA; his daughter-in-law Janice B. Albert of Florence, SC; and his brothers-in-law, Deacon Charlie Robinson of Letohatchee, AL, Deacon Preston (Shirley), Raymond Robinson of Montgomery, AL and Rayon Robinson of Winter Park, FL. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
