He is survived by: his children, John Gary Curry, Youlanda Upkins (Stephen), Sharnette Moss (Gregory) and Travis Williams-Ellis; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Curry, Christian Upkins-Everson (Cameron), Manning Maurice McCutchen, Stephen Kennedy Upkins, William Ellis Upkins and Tyler Jean Williams-Ellis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
