He is survived by: his sisters, Peggy Pullen of Marietta, GA, Nanette Burke (Dennis) of Biloxi and Marianne Sherman (John, III) of Biloxi; and his siblings' children, Emily Burke of Biloxi, Scott, Brian Pullen (Elissa) of Georgia, Sam Burke (Sarah) of Biloxi, John Sherman IV (Adrianna) of San Antonio and Nicholas Sherman (Tiffany) of Cibolo, TX..

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nativity BVM Cathedral (870 Howard Ave, Biloxi, MS 39530). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
