He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Avants (David) and Richard Reeves (Hope); his grandchildren, Candace McDowell (Ben), Seth Avants (Chassity), Zachary Avants, Mattie Ginn (Hunter), Jessica Reeves, Dwayne Reeves, Julia Miller (Riley), Sallie Pendley, Taylor Pendley (Audrey) and Emma Reeves (Cody Roberts); and his sister Syliva Langston. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (2305 Pleasant Hill Dr SE, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629).
