With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Buren Holmes of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Atley Holmes and Maxine Roberts Holmes; and his brother Hilton Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Karen Holmes; his children, Chris Holmes (Gina), Dustan Pickett (Paytience), Heather Sterling (Craig), Lacey Bates (Nick), Joseph Holmes and Logan Holmes (Katie); and his brothers, John Ray Holmes (Judy), Jerry Holmes (Willie Mae) and Milton Holmes (Sheila). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Topisaw Baptist Church (2668 Topisaw Dr SE, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
