He is survived by: his sons, Billy Wayne Morton of Oakfield, GA and Charles Morton (Ruth) of Thomasville, GA; his sisters, Catherine Ann Guin (Robert) of Kirkville, MS, Sue Morton Scott of Booneville, MS and Carolyn Boren (Roy) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, William Morton, Heather Furrow and Lucy Morton; and his great grandchildren, Brayton Furrow, Hanson Furrow, Madisen Phillips, Hayden Morton and Miller Morton.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Booneville Church of Christ (406 N 2nd St, Booneville, MS 38829). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
