She is survived by: her husband Gerald Jacobs; her children, Justin Ray Jacobs and Gena McKee (Larry); her mother Jimmie Ray Whitehead; her brother Bobby Lyle Whitehead (Deborah); her grandchildren, Ava Jacobs and Carlee Wright Arnold; and her cousin Marilyn Rhodes Kelly.
