He is survived by: his sons, Wesley Frank Yates of Lexington, TN and Charles Landon Yates of Gulfport, MS; his grandchildren, Cameron Wilemon and Kingston Wilemon of Huntsville, AL; his mother Patricia Ann Tedford Yates; and his brothers, Herbert Cullen Yates and Steven Allen Yates. He is also survived by many nieces, a nephew, a great-niece and a great-nephew.
