He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elbert and Minnie Mae Hughes; and his siblings, Jane Hughes Pittman and Garry Van Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sister Frances Thompson (Dickie); his children, Amy Hughes Beckham (Ron) of Oxford, Christopher Hal Hughes (Paula) of Madison and Lea Ann Roberson (Brian) of Georgetown, SC; his grandchildren, Tyler Joseph Beckham (Sara Jane), Hunter Hughes Beckham, Johnson Christopher Hughes, Brewer Hal Hughes, Emily Smith Roberson and Jackson Hughes Roberson; and his great grandchildren, Slayde Johnston Beckham and Stella Jane Beckham.
