He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elbert and Maranda Sue Strong (White); his wife Suzie Strong; his siblings, Blaine Strong (Cheryl), Gilbert Strong, Paul "Linard" Strong, Retha Strong and Jack Strong; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Whitaker.
He is survived by: his sons, LeeRoy Strong (Ellie) and Edward Strong; his granddaughter Starla Strong; his sisters, Dorothy Whitaker and Bonita Strong; his niece Wilma Mills; and his sister-in-law Charlene Strong. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
