It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvella Theresa Shook (Booneville, Mississippi), who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Satsu Hecksher; and her sister Deborah Hecksher Prier. She is survived by: her husband Ricky L. Shook; her father Richard G. Hecksher; her parent-in-law Kay; her stepson Patrick Shook; her daughter Theresa Jackson; her stepdaughter April Norris; her siblings, Richard Hecksher, Brenda Hechsher Black and Katrina Hecksher Jones; her grandchildren, Kayleigh Hicks, Bobby Hicks and James Hicks; and her stepgrandchildren, Jeremiah Norris, Aliva Norris, Kaiden Shook and Sophia Shook. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
