He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Floyd and Lillie Floyd; his daughter Traci Lynn Maners; and his siblings, Howard Floyd, Louise Moore and Helen Jones.

He is survived by: his significant other Jauniece; his sons, Robert Milton Floyd, Jr. (Bob) and Luther Scott Floyd; his son-in-law Joel Maners (Janet); his grandchildren, Alicia Taylor (Brett), Sara, Cameron, Forrest Maners, Koley and Macey Floyd; his stepgrandchildren, Laura, Sara Crocker and MaKaylee Owens; his great grandchild Paxton Taylor; his stepgreat-grandsons, Dalton and Seth Stacks; his brother-in-law Kermit Jones; and his niece Cindy Pharr (Dwight).
