He was predeceased by: his father Joe Michael; his stepfather Travis Stokes; his mother-in-law Pat Elam; and his brother-in-law Jason Elam. He is survived by: his mother Lucille Stokes of Booneville; his wife Leigh Ann Elam Michael of Booneville; his daughters, Ashleigh Flurry (Kevin) of West Point, Sara Beth Howell (Blake) of Booneville, Mallory Martin (Austin) of Baldwyn, Gracie Stephens (Ardis) of Wheeler and Brandi Burcham (Shane) of Jumpertown; his siblings, Ronald Michael (Emily) of Oxford, Pam Johnson of Booneville, Tenna Herring (Darren) of Guntown and Anne Marie Coats of Wheeler; his father-in-law Wayne Elam of Ramer, TN; his brother-in-law Tommy Elam; and his grandchildren, Mary Michael, Emmett, Beckham, Ann-Sutton, Dex, Randy Rhett, Baylor, Everly, Judd, Ila, Parks and Pryce. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Booneville Baptist Church (602 E Church St, Booneville, MS 38829). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ballard House.
