She was predeceased by : her son Chris Mathis; her parents, Roy Montgomery and Avo Montgomery; and her siblings, Nancy Ashmore and Richard Montgomery.

She is survived by : her sister Lisa Huguley (Gooney); her nieces, Korina Dodson (Joseph) and Alexia Owens (Kevin); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Skylie, Emma Dodson, Grady and Chet Owens.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kesler Funeral Home, Inc. (114 Gaston Rd, Booneville, MS 38829). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Booneville Chapel, Gaston Rd Email.
