Alyce Garner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alyce Garner of Brandon, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory H. Goit and Lola Rhymes Goit; and her sister Sara Goit Carpenter (Joe D. Garner). She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Garner Saffle (Thomas) and David D. Garner (Tamara); her grandchildren, Owen Saffle (Emily), Justin Saffle (Laura), Ryan Saffle (Elizabeth) and Brandon Garner (Shelby); and her great grandchildren, Landon, Hastings, Ellie, Caroline, Grady, Reaves and Asher Saffle.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chateau Pines (124 Morgans Ln, Brandon, MS 39042). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (248 Honor Circle, Newton, MS 39345).
