He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Drowne Batzing; his significant other Donna Harvey; his granddaughter Jennifer Ainsworth Hughes; his great grandchild Cannon C. Hughes; his sister Ila Perrone; and his nieces, Fran Cochran, Kathy Morehouse, Carol Evans and Laura Pringle.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Bernie, supporting the fight against the disease that ultimately claimed his life.
