With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Ruth Shelton of Brandon, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Ruth Shelton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Thomas Thompson and Lola Bell Buckley (Thompson); and her siblings, Jean Cumberland, Shirley Boykin and Jimmy Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert James "Bo" Shelton; her sons, Eric Shelton (Karen), David Shelton (Mandy Alford) and Kevin Shelton (William Apple); her daughter-in-law Kimberly Shelton; her grandchildren, Blaine Shelton (Kayli), Tyler Shelton (Brittany), Addison Shelton and Zachary Apple; her great grandchild Kinsley Shelton; and her sister Helen Boykin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
