With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Derrick Fitzgerald Booker (Brandon, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 59. He was predeceased by: his wife Valerie Booker; and his brother Micheal Booker. He is survived by: his children, Sharries Smith, Apollos Smith, Derrick Smith, Jereme Smith, Larenzo Smith and Paris Smith; his parents, Margaret Anne Moore and Amos Booker; and his siblings, Vivian Moore, Latoria Hill, Amos Booker and Lisa Kyles. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dean Memorial Funeral Home (745 MS-468, Brandon, MS 39042).
