He was predeceased by: his mother Elinor Faxon Knox (Ira Landrith Knox); his sister Ann Carmack Cook (Robert Daniell Cook); and his nephew Jeffrey Daniell Cook. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Nichols Knox; his son Eric Faxon Knox; his grandchildren, Emily Catherine Knox of Jefferson City, Missouri. and Philip Faxon Knox of Jefferson City, Missouri.; his nephew Jerome Douglas Cook (Adrienne Cook); and his nieces, Jennifer Creadick (Brian Lindner) and Dana Cook.
