Selestine Hardy wrote a sympathy message

“We are sending condolence and loving memories of our dear cousin Alexander, (Bo Didley, as we called him during our childhood.) The memories really stand out going to visit our grandfather in the summer, swimming in their pond, and playing in the open woods near their home finding hickory nuts, bullets, (Muscadines) and riding on the back of his dad' Pick-Up truck, to us, it was going on a big summer vacation. Thanks, cousin for great memories, and we shall miss our presence and your laughter.”
