He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ira Ballard and Irma Lee Taylor. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Anthony Ballard (Carol) and Gerald Lamar Ballard Jr. (Carol Ann); his grandchildren, Anthony (Holly), Katie (Jake), Trey (Taylor) and Will; and his great grandchildren, Levi and Scarlett.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes- Brandon (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
