He is survived by: his wife Magdalene Valentine Pitts; his children, Deborah Lynn Pitts Reed (James) and Kenneth Edward Pitts (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Matthew Vaughn Reed (Maggie), Sean Edward Reed, Daniel Pitts, Courtney Lynn Reed Ford (Chris) and Nathan Pitts; his children, Knight Pitts, Reed Ford, Ellie Reed, Sawyer Reed, Banks Pitts, Amelia Reed, Emmitt Pitts, Olivia Ford and Smith Pitts; and his siblings, Shirley Pitts Todd and Gerald Pitts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
