He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Madison Cannon and Ossie Lee Ogletree Cannon; his wife Margene McCabe Cannon; his brother Billy D. Cannon; and his son Jonathan Williamson.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon L. Woodward (Gary), Michael E. Williamson (Janet), James D. Cannon, Jr. (Scioney), Jimmy B. Cannon (Jan) and William R. Cannon. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home (3780 US-80, Pearl, MS 39208). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
