He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Jenkins Sr. and Pearl Estelle Carmichael Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Ginger" Jenkins; his sons, J. Michael Jenkins (Janie) and Jeffrey C. Jenkins (Fonda); and his grandchildren, Haley Jenkins M. D. (Noah Alcodray), Cade Jenkins (Emma) and Ryan Jenkins.
