She is survived by: her children, Robert "Carl" Carlton Carter (Jennifer) of Madison, MS., Kathy Carter Zachary (Mike) of Laurel, MS and Charles Kevin Carter of Olive Branch, MS.; and her grandchildren, Mia Carter, Justin Zachary (Madison), Taylor Zachary, Jorja Carter and Reagan Carter (Carter Lane Zachary).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to New Fellowship Baptist Church in Johnnie's name.
