Lynda Scanlon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda Scanlon of Brandon, Mississippi, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Lowe and Retha Walker King; and her sister Brenda Majors. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Patrick Scanlon; her daughters, Lindsay Ainsworth (Jason) and Elizabeth Irvin (Court); her grandsons, Gary, Gavin and Grant; and her sister Latricia Young. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Terry Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Crossgates Baptist Church Food Pantry.
