We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Mack D. Owens Jr. of Brandon, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Mack departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mack may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mack leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ortis Gordon Owens; and his parents, Mack Owens, and Ollie Owens, Sr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes- Brandon (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial gifts to Park Place Baptist Church, 5701 Highway 80E, Pearl, MS 39208 or to the American Cancer Society.
