It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Brown Vaughn of Brandon, Mississippi, who passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Brown and Mosby Brown; her husband Harold Clay Vaughn (Bill); and her siblings, James, William (Junebug) and Erminia.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Thrash of Chattanooga, TN and Joy Ferrell of Flowood, MS; her daughters, Cindy Tupis (Bill), Peggy Wallace (Karl), Patty Langley (Bobby) and Marty Grubbs (Keith); her grandchildren, Amy Tupis Cucullu (Keith), Daniel Tupis (Nicola), Christina Wallace Deloach, Jacob Wallace (Susana), Clay Langley (Brandi), Brad Langley (Kelly), Rebecca Grubbs Harper (Josh) and Mallory Grubbs Watkins (Ethan); and her great grandchildren, Madeleine Cucullu, Alex Cucullu, Myra Deloach, Daniel Wallace, Hannah Langley, Gavin Langley, Alaina Langley, Greyson Langley, Jude Langley, Leo Langley, Jordan Harper, Ava Harper, Brynn Harper, Mae Watkins and Clara Watkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
