He is survived by: his wife Barbara Spencer of Brandon, Mississippi; his daughter Kay; his son-in-law Scott Walters of Brandon, Mississippi; his daughter Renee Chastain of Brandon, Mississippi; his siblings, John Spencer of Indianola, Mississippi, Ruth Willis of Port Gibson, Mississippi and Sarah; his brother-in-law Tim Starnes of Cleveland, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Shelby Thrash (Trace Thrash), Jacob Chastain and Aiden Walters; and his great grandchild Noa K. Thrash.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes- Brandon (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
