She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Barnette and Clyde Barnette; and her siblings, Milford Barnette, Billy Barnette, Bobby Barnette, Robert Barnette, James Barnette and Carolyn B. Wilkerson.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley C. Ross; her children, Stanley "Craig" Ross Jr. of Huntsville, Ala. and Leigh Ann Ross of Brandon; and her siblings, Doug Barnette (Linda Jane), Terry Barnette (Angie), Bettye Oakes (Donald) and Janice Brown (Frank).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home (759 US-51, Madison, MS 39110). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home Chapel (759 US-51, Madison, MS 39110).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Light House of Central Mississippi, a non-profit Christian Developmental Center for children with special needs, and/or the University of Mississippi Medical Center Neuro Institute.
