Owen Francis Lusk Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Owen Francis Lusk of Brandon, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Owen Francis Lusk to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen B. Lusk and Erlene Hanson Lusk; his sister Doris Lusk; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Dempsey. He is survived by: his children, Beth Barger (Mark) of Greenwood, Lane Davis (Dan) of Brandon, Diane Haas (Toxey) of West Point and Clif Lusk (Buffy) of Troy, Ala.; and his grandchildren, Ashley Lane Davis, Peyton Cardis (Daniel), Maidee Parker Campbell (Will), Alan Barger (Margie), Lacy Johnson (Patrick), Garrison Barger, Sara Frances Stubbs (Vandy), Daniel Haas (Caroline), Neill Haas (Hillary), Clifton Lusk, Jr. (Melissa), Dr. Caitie Lusk, Dr. Mary Lacy Lusk and May Morgan Lusk. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Jackson, Mississippi (431 N State St, Jackson, MS 39201). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Jackson, MS (431 N State St, Jackson, MS 39201). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Lakewood Memorial Park (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209).
