She was predeceased by: her parents, Harsh Searcy and Laura Mae Searcy (Hales); and her siblings, Wright, Dwight (Sammie), John Searcy and Nancy Wilson (Nelson).
She is survived by: her son David Ray Purvis; her granddaughters, Jera Hood (Bill) and Bridget Clark (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Dane, Eliza Hood, Seth and Elias Clark; and her sister-in-law Sammie Searcy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes- Brandon (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042).
