He is survived by: his wife Joyce O'Neal Brown; his children, Craig D. Brown and Tara K. Brown; his grandchildren, C. J. Brown, Kimberly D. Brown and Addison Bynum; and his siblings, Irvin Springfield (Deborah) and Sherry Springfield Minton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family members.
