He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie David Barnard and Bertie Wells Barnard; and his siblings, James Barnard, Opal Barnard Walker, Mary Barnard Tanner, Sue Barnard Spangler, Wardell Barnard and Pete Barnard.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Barnard; his brother Kenny Barnard (Kathi); his children, Dean Barnard (Angie), Shelia Welch (Jimmy) and Shea Seghini (Chris); his grandchildren, Shasta Welch, Jason Welch (Steven), Blake Barnard, Dalton Gibson, Alex Gibson, Alex Seghini and Emerson Seghini; and his great grandchildren, Max Swain, Lynden Barnard, Paxton Barnard, Everlei Barnard and Brady Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in memory of Bennie Barnard.
