He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lamkin Sr. and Jane Douglas Lamkin; and his brother Douglas Lamkin. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Blakeney Lamkin; his close friends, Mary Ann Blakeney and Linda Croft Poole; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bray, Meg Williams and Lucy Tullos; Gary and Tracy Mendow. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Star Baptist Church or any no kill animal shelter.
