He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Covington and Mattie Merle Thompson Covington; and his brother Keith Thompson. He is survived by: his spouse Kelly Abbey Covington; his children, Anthony Colt Covington (Noelle) of Brandon, MS, Matthew Chase Covington (Jessie) of Brookhaven, MS and Olivia Covington Wallace (Ryan) of Brookhaven, MS.; his grandchildren, Jude Watling of Jase, Watsyn Wallace, River, Salem and Atlas Covington; and his brother Ralph Covington, Jr. (Mary).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Captain Jack's Guest House (205 Natchez Ave, Brookhaven, MS 39601).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made for research to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011, in Bobby's memory.
