She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Burns Smith and Carl Vincent Smith; and her husband Dr. James Harvey "Jimmy" Stribling. She is survived by: her children, Sandee Stribling McPherson of Jackson, MS and James Vincent Stribling of Jackson, MS; her grandchildren, Allison McPherson Nash (Gary) of Little Rock, AR, Hunter Stribling McPherson (Jackie) of Shreveport, LA, Cole Harris McPherson (Sarah) of Madison, MS and Madeline McPherson Martinson (Max) of Jackson, MS; and her great grandchildren, Wilton Wells Nash, Caroline Monroe Nash and Maeve Rheese McPherson.
