She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Thomas Eakes (Natalie) of Brookhaven, MS; her grandchildren, Natalie Christine Jordan (Graydon) of Thomas Kevin, TK, Patterson, Pollyanna Smith (Jeremy), Christie Rose Patterson (James Beard) and Jeffrey Thomas Eakes, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Corbin James Beard, Caston Ace Beard and Sadie Rose Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Smith and Sandra Meacham (Ken).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Dr NE, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery (1230 Macedonia Rd NW, Brookhaven, MS 39601).
