She was predeceased by : her grandmother Elizabeth Ann Emfinger; her parents, George Franklin Rand (Mildred G) and Preceding; and her brothers, George Jr., Albert Dunbar, Leslie Louis and Allen Eugene.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Franklin Funeral Home (291 Main St, Meadville, MS 39653). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
