He is survived by: his daughter Georgia Anne Wells (Michelle Bagby); his grandchildren, Stuart Wayman Wells, Jr., Emily Wells Smith (Jeremy), Sara Burkett (Corey) and Hadley Wells Harborth; his brother Steve Wells; his friend Stacy Wooldridge; and his nieces, Kathryn, Karon, Sharon and Renee. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
