He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldridge Leger and Ada LeJeune Leger; his siblings, Geraldine Aordoin, Florence Bialy, Betty Boulineau, Harold Leger, E. J. Leger and Frankie Leger; and his sons, Joey and Kevin Leger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia and Denise Leger; his stepdaughters, Billie Faye Sartin and Cherie Johnson (Bennie); and his grandchildren, Jessica Bertram (Jeff), Leanne Stump (Ray), Holly Chappell (Robbie) and Dana Agre (Jeff). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Dr NE, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery (814 Marwood Loop SE, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
